 Welcome to the Ten FM web site.
Ten FM is a community radio station serving the towns of Tenterfield in northern N.S.W. and Stanthorpe in southern QLD, as well as the surrounding areas of the northern New England and the Queensland Granite Belt.
Ten FM transmits on 89.7MHz with a 4kW transmitter located on Mt Mackenzie, 8km south west of Tenterfield. In Stanthorpe, Ten FM transmits on 98.7MHz with a low power transmitter situated on Mt Marley.
For the technically minded, Ten FM uses StationPlaylist computer software for unattended program transmission. In production, we use Adobe Audition audio editing software. The on-air studio is equipped with an Elan mixer, Lenovo on-air computer and Marantz & Denon CD players.
